Mullet Skirts!

Summertime is slowly coming to an end so lets make sure that you all get a chance to wear your summer favorites one more time!  My personal favorite is the mullet dress or skirt.  It's stylish, versatile, feminine and keeps you cool on those hot days.  The length of the dress or skirt is a personal preference, some prefer long tails and others short.  This loose simple style looks great with either a plain or patterned top and belts are a great accessory to accent your waist.  Take a look at how these girls have mastered the mullet!

Short or long?

Neon Punch!

If you are still following the neon craze you are right on track with this falls fashion.  These bright vibrate colors have been seen all over the place this summer and they are slowly but surely trickling into falls upcoming fashion trends.  Fall's neons are going to appear a bit more subtle than summer neons.  Focus on having one item follow the neon trend whether it be your accessories, pants, sweaters or nail polish, get creative!  Here are a few ways women have coordinated these vibrant bold hues into their wardrobe without looking like they have traveled back into the 80's!

Have a bright day!

Shorts Time People!

Well, we all know SUMMER is just around the corner.  That means it is time to start shedding that dull, drab, dark winter wardrobe.  Finally time for shorts...yes, my favorite.  A current fad that seems to be trending are high waisted shorts.  They came in last year and seem to be overpowering for this upcoming season.  They have been spotted in many different styles.  Some appear to be tattered and torn, others dyed and simple.  Oh and how could I forget the ever so trendy...STUDS.  Suggestion, when sizing up for a good pair of high waisted shorts make sure the waistband sits just above your hips, this way tends to be more comfortable and looks better.  Below are a few shorts that are appearing in fashion gurus closets. Take a look...

Tuck It In!

High waisted bottoms are on the rise and it is becoming quite popular to tuck your tops into them. Instead of leaving your top outside of your pants tuck it in and show off the hardware! This look can be slimming if worn properly. Make sure when you are tucking it in that there are no bumps, you don't want to accidentally accent another unwanted part of your body! If necessary, add a belt to the outfit to accentuate your slim waist. If you are uncomfortable with a complete tuck then just tuck in the front and let the back hang out creating a more relaxed look. Try it out a few different ways and see which one suits you the best!

It's alright to let some hang out!

Fly Away!

Feather extensions are a huge craze this summer.  Everyone from Selena Gomez to Steven Tyler have a few bird feathers in their hair.  These extensions come in multiple colors, shapes and sizes.  You can buy single feathers, allowing you to group them as you please or you can buy clusters of predesigned feathers.  Feather extensions can be easily applied and easily removed, you can blow dry, curl, and straighten them and you can wash and brush them with no problems.  These funky feathers are a great way to add a little burst of color to your summer style!

Get With It!

Summer is finally here and it is time to start dressing like it.  Here are some great fashion tips, feel free to mix and match!

Giddy Up
Saddle up because country western is back.  Graphic tees, leather goods, metal charms, feathered accessories, native patterns they are all popular this season.  Think simplicity with a spark!

Funky Fringe
Talk about statement piece.  Let your hair down, your wild side out and flow loosely in the wind with your funky fringe.  Front, back and side-to-side.

Tangled Knit
Although torn up sweaters don’t seem to make much sense they are thriving in the fashion world.  Layering is the best way to use these garments.  Whether you are covering up your bathing suit or heading out on the town, tattered knits are the way to go.  Vintage, easy and eye catching.

Let your colors show!

Floral Bursts!

Whether you are a landscaper's daughter or not, floral prints are all the rage this season.  Springs floral fashions have carried over into summer.  You have many different options when it comes to floral patterns.  Designers are using this print on shorts, tops, pants, dresses, blouses and more.  They also come in a variety of sizes; large bold flowers, small dainty flowers, clusters, bouquets etc..  Mixing and matching floral patterns are what seems to be troublesome when creating outfits.  Design experts say that it is okay to mix and match floral prints, but you just have to make sure that you are not going overboard and that you are placing them on the most flattering parts of your body.  For example, if you are larger in your chest then stay away from large floral prints on the top.  If you are larger in your bottom then stay away from floral prints on your bottom.  A floral romper could be cute, just make sure you break it up with a solid color belt or a bold handbag.  A classic and simple way to wear a floral print is to either pair a solid bottom with a floral top or vise versas.  It's a bold statement regardless, beware!  Here are a few examples of ways to wear floral prints!

It even looks great on accessories!
