Ambassador Anna Wintour?

As rumors do, they have been circulating like wild fire, and the latest fashion rumor is that Anna Wintour could potentially become the Ambassador of London?  Hold on world and just wait one minute, is this real?  Although she has been keeping quiet about it, that hasn't stopped the rumors from continuing.  Ambassador Louis Susman's roll is up and it is time for the President to begin his search for a replacement ambassador to withhold the position.  Miss Wintour has donated tens and thousands of dollars towards the Obama election campaign and has been a close follower of President Obama.
As most of you know, Anna Wintour is UK-born and has been the editor of the US Vogue for over two decades.  With the glistening contact book that Anna Wintour has, I'm not surprised that she is being considered for the enormous job of being an ambassador.  Although there are no personal announcements that are going to be made anytime soon, in regards to the future ambassador to London, we know that the 62-year-old Miss Wintour is being considered.
If this change were to occur, Wintour would be greatly missed by US Vogue and all of it's readers.   I'm not sure if there is any type of replacement for her, she does her job better than anyone could.  This accessible, smart and bright woman has carried US Vogue and has transformed it into the wonderful masterpiece it is.  If she were to go, she will be greatly missed.

A woman with many talents!

The CFDA!

The Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. (CFDA) is a no-profit trade association that consists of over 400 of the top American womenswear, menswear, jewelry and accessory designers.  Every year they host a fashion show for new and upcoming designers to show off their collections.  The ten finalists all gathered in West Hollywood Thursday afternoon for the annual fashion show at the Chateau Marmont to show off their designs.  Although many designers felt like their stomachs housed multiple fluttering butterflies, they kept their cool while showing their collections to an audience that included Victoria Beckham, Baz Luhrmann, Katy Perry and Jennifer Aniston.
The evening then traveled on to a private dinner that was hosted by the Anna Wintour and Victoria Beckham.  As the young, nervous designers mingled with the crowd they all got positive reassurance from Ms. Wintour when she stated that there are no losers, only winners.  The upcoming awards ceremony will take place in New York next month and until then we will just have to wait to see who the true winner will be.
     Let's see who wore what!

Good Luck!

Who Wore What To Bergdorf's?

Good morning!  I am still carrying on with the Bergdorf theme.  I had dreams about the event and needed to inform you all a little bit more.  It was too fabulous to just blog about once!  Now that we know all about why Bergdorf Goodman's had a smashing bash let's see who all attended it.  The Plaza hotel was crawling with designers, stylists, models, bloggers and the elite.  Enough of me talking, let's just admire!

Carolyn Murphy arrived at the party in a golden yellow J Mendel Spring 2013 gown with bright lips and shoe accents.
Coco Rocha came with one of her favorite men, Zac Posen.  She is wearing the designer's fabulous blood red mermaid strapless gown.
Jason Wu's date, Erin Heatherton showed off her legs and her dates talent wearing this sexy gown.
Marchesa's co-founder Georgina Chapman made a feathery entrance in one of her own dazzling creations.
Karolina Kurkova wearing a printed Roberto Cavalli suit and some hot silver Christian Louboutin pumps.

Saving the best for last.  The Queen, Anna Wintour, crashed the party in this classic Christian Dior dress.

"What an interesting group of people!" I say to myself as I scroll through the red carpet album.  But shoved together in the fully decorated Plaza they make for a true reflection of the upscale Bergdorf Goodman's array of chichi fashion.  Fabulous!

Party on!
